First film at Screamfest
Marie Lynn's first film to go to Screamfest is called, "Singularity," and she is reserved to attend the festival for its premiere. The film premieres on the last day of the festival on Oct. 22nd, 2011 over at the Hollywood and Highland center. The long awaited, Friday the 13th webseries starts filming!
Webseries, "Friday the 13th -The Obsession," being produced by Timberwolf West Entertainment as a fan film series has been in talks for the past 8 months. Finally after much anticipated promotion the series goes into filming with Marie Lynn playing Stephanie Miner as a co-star. The series is set to film 10 episodes and be released online for free around Halloween. Feature film, "The Call Girl," changes its title to, "Lucid Fear"
Feature film, "The Call Girl," that has been in production over the last year has a new title, "Lucid Fear." The Drama/ psychological thriller is about a girl who has a tragedy befall upon her life and we follow that turning point and see how she copes with her mental instability and becomes a different person. "There have been a lot of developments over the last year," explains director Timothy Whitfield, "and through that, the title no longer fit, so we came up with something more appropriate to the story."
Being released in the Fall of 2011 by Timberwolf West Entertainment, Marie says, "I really enjoy character driven pieces, and this is a very character driven story that really gets to challenge me as an actor. For that I couldn't be more grateful. I'm excited for its release." |  |
"Destiny of the Journeys" finishes filming and goes to post-production
Season 4, the finale of "The Journeys" webseries directed by Fred Copeland about a group of ancient Egyptian clones living in modern day goes to post-production. Marie Lynn stars in the series as an aggressive rebel named Jourlia. A continuation of her role from Trilogy 1.5, 2 and 3. The series has been filming for a few years and is coming to a bittersweet close. "It will be sad not to go to set all the time and get to work with the cast and crew.." Marie says, "but it is time for things to get even bigger and better, which no one can complain about!" Right now there are talks of Marie continuing with some of the cast in the full length motion picture, "Destiny," which is the pre-story to "The Journeys." The end of Trilogy 3 will be released in September 2011, followed by the "Destiny of the Journeys," release in early 2012. Drama/ thriller webseries, "Diary of a Black Widow," directed by Rydell Danzie has finally been released online. A story about a woman who goes on a killing spree and tells her story. Lynn has just signed on to be the lead role in horror film, "Burlesque
Massacre 2." This is going to be a film a little different than the
first. "It will have a much more polished look to it," says director
Timothy Whitfield. "It is a strong role for an actress and sounds very
fun and interesting to me, " says Marie Lynn. "I am excited to take it
on because it not only has some good character qualities but some
intense action in it as well, which is my dream as an actress." So be
